Temporary No Charge Daily Parking Permits Ends August 16, 2024

Important update: Harvard Parking Services has extended the no charge daily parking offering through Saturday, August 15, 2024. Employees who typically commute via transit or occasionally drive to campus are eligible for no charge daily parking at select Harvard facilities in Cambridge and Allston. All Harvard I.D. holders will have access to the HBS Surface Lot, the Webster Lot (Athletics area), the Observatory Lot, 52 Oxford Street Garage, Littauer Lot, SEAS Lot, and William James Lot.

Paid parking resumes on Sunday, August 16, 2024. Online daily rates will be reduced to $16 a day through December 31, 2024. Point of sale transactions at the HBS and SFPG booths will be $20 a day. Click here to purchase online daily permits.

The new ZipBy parking app will be available to Harvard commuters utilizing the Allston Webster lot. It allows affiliates to book parking online. Printed permits are not required. Your cell phone Bluetooth technology will open the gates. The rate is $1 per 30 minutes. There are no time restrictions. A Cambridge location is coming this fall. More details will be available in early August.

New multispacer meters will be installed in the Observatory and the Hague Street lots this fall. No permit is necessary for this option however there is a strict 4-hour limit.

Employees who extended their annual parking permits should continue displaying their current hang tag through December 31, 2024. Your facility access will also be extended until the end of the year. The FY21 annual permit renewal website will open mid-September. New permits will be delivered in early December. Payroll deductions for extended permit holders ended in June and will restart in January 2021. Click here for more information.

On demand van service

Effective Thursday June 11th we will be resuming our On Demand Van Service. It will run Monday – Friday from 10:00AM – 4:00PM. Rides can be requested using the Harvard Evening Van App. Information can be found here. All other transit service remains suspended.

We strongly encourage all customers to adhere to social distancing guidelines and to wear facial coverings while on the van.
